Meet the friendly staff at The Cat Clinic of NW Arkansas!

Dr. Angela Rose earned a degree in accounting and economics prior to pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University. Go Cowboys! She has been in practice for more than thirty years. She has devoted the past 27 years to felines. Dr. Rose is highly sought after in the four state area. While not working at the clinic, you can often find Dr. Rose with her three adult children, Tyler, Abby and Katy. Dr. Rose enjoys spending time at the lake on her boat or traveling and camping in her RV. Dr. Rose has four cats and two dogs at home.

Karen Rhodifer has been with The Cat Clinic for over 20 years. Her contributions to our clinic are varied and invaluable. Karen is the office manager and does all the grooming. Karen and her husband Tim have one daughter, one granddaughter, eight cats and a dog. Karen enjoys music of all kinds, but rock and roll is her favorite. In fact, you can often find her at concerts on the weekends. Karen enjoys a really good book.

Carol Mayse has been an integral part of our veterinary hospital for over sixteen years. Carol started out in the kennel area and we soon learned she possesses many skills. You will often find Carol assisting Dr. Rose with patients and in surgery. Carol is a wicked awesome cat wrangler. On the home front, Carol is raising a raccoon (George Cooney), has four cats and one dog. Carol enjoys spending time with her nine grandchildren. We are often the recipients of her culinary delights!

Jennifer Stallbaumer

Jennifer and her cat Dude

Jennifer Stallbaumer came to The Cat Clinic in 2011. Jennifer is primarily focused on the front office, but can be found assisting in the exam rooms, surgery or the kennel area. Jennifer and her husband Tom have moved around quite a bit (Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, Nevada) but always found a way home to the town they love. Their two adult children both reside in Fayetteville.Jennifer’s cat, Dude, was rescued from The Cat Clinic. When she isn’t hanging out with family, Jennifer can be found hiking area trails, practicing yoga or riding on the back of Tom’s Harley Davidson.

Megan Creech started with us in January of 2015. If you ever visit our cat rescue, The Outback Cat Rescue, you have Megan to thank for the sparkling clean conditions. Megan can tell you about each of our cats. In fact, she is quite adept at coining pet names for each one of them. If you want any sports information about the Arkansas Razorbacks or the Dallas Cowboys, Megan is your girl! Megan loves interacting with our cats, listening to music, singing and she is quite a good cook.

Katie Clay has been in the veterinary industry for more than eleven years. We were lucky to catch her about a year ago. Speaking of catching, Katie likes to fish. Katie also enjoys her time outdoors while she and her family camp. Katie is one of those people who can be found just about anywhere in our clinic. She works in the kennel area, assists in the hospital as well as helping in the front office. Katie has one daughter, two grand kids, two dogs and six cats.

Whitney and our clinic cat Eduardo

Whitney McNicol’s voice is one you hear often when you call The Cat Clinic. Whitney works at the reception area. Whitney has mad computer skills. When any of us can’t figure some gadget or piece of technology out, we make it Whitney’s job! Whitney enjoys spending time outdoors. On the weekends and holidays, you might find Whitney camping, canoeing or hiking. Whitney is married to Mike, has four children, three cats and a dog.

Kat Samples was a client of ours for more years than we can count prior to joining our staff in November of 2016. Kat’s love of cats is known worldwide. Kat works in the hospital assisting Carol, Karen and Dr. Rose. It is heartwarming to see her devotion to our patients as she cares for all of their needs. Kat lives in a cabin on the lake, which is good, because it is secluded and she can turn her music up as loud as she feels led. She can also be quiet out there and enjoy a good book. Kat is a caregiver. When asked how many cats Kat has, she replied “too many to count!”

Clinic Cats: Honey Badger, Ellie, Corky, L.B., Muffin, Zeffa, Eduardo, Chief, Scout, Princess, Harvey, and Fergus.
